The credentials that you will need to sign in are the same username and password that you use to sign in to your company computer. If you are already signed in to your company computer and you are using IE (Internet Explorer) and you are on one of the KAR Auction Services networks you will not be required to enter your username and password because we already know your access credentials. If you are accessing MOS on an outside network such as your home or an airport or you are using a browser other than IE, you will be prompted to enter your computer username and password. If this is your first time using MOS you will be required to complete a short registration form as part of the sign in process. There are instructions on the registration form as well as options for getting help with registering. Registration Due to some issues with accounts for specific business units, you may be asked to register even if you were already registered in the previous version of MOS. If this is the case for you, please complete the registration form. We will consolidate your old account with your new account within 24 to 48 hours, so just go ahead and start using your new account. If you are a managment level user please email us as soon as you complete registration so that we can set the appropriate access level for your new account. Username Changed? If your KAR username has recently changed due to your name changing or other circumstance, you may be directed to the Registration Form. If this is the case please do not register again as this will result in the creation of two separate user accounts for you. Instead, please email us and let us know about your username change.
